What is Hypnosis?

We all experience several moments in the day when we were 'In a world of our own' or daydreaming. These are a form of trance. Hypnosis induces this relaxed state of mind.



What is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy is an effective tool for change. It is the art of deliberately inducing hypnosis in order to access deeper information and change for the client. In this relaxed state it is easier to cut straight to the questions and answers.


Does Hypnotherapy work?

Yes. In the hands of a well trained therapist it is a very effective form of therapy. This is because you are dealing with the mind when it is 'uncluttered' and with a deeper focus for change.



Is it safe? Myths?

Due to the unknown nature of Hypnotherapy and 'stage hypnosis' entertainment; there are naturally many questions about hypnosis/hypnotherapy. The truth is that no one can be made to do anything they do not agree to. Hypnosis has to be permissive in order to work. That means that if you are committed to positive change that you will achieve it. It also means that you remain in control of yourself at all times.
